Aske
personality
Aske is a very adventurous and carefree Mako. Her motto is "if it's not fun why do it?". Which is not really a motto that makes other people happy when it means that you never do your chores or work. She can be arrogant but thankfully is smart enough to get her out of most situations that she gets herself into. She is very independent and dislikes it when others try to help her often. She is generally friendly towards strangers but usually prefers to be alone. She doesn't want to be tied down and most others simply don't share her views on life. She loves to put herself into dangerous situations in order to get an adrenaline rush.

Relationships |
Dragga: Aske and Dragga's relationship isn't very deep but they are still very close. The main thing that unites them is there love for adventure. They don't have as strong of an emotional bond as she does with many others despite all of the time that they have spent together.
Celsius: Aske likes Cel but really everyone likes Cel. He's just so sweet. She always knows that he'll be there for her if she needs him. Starshine: Aske does not like Starshine as much. He's fun to go on adventures with, but he's just so darn arrogant and childish. So basically he's who she goes to if she's dying for some action but not to concerned about conversation. Sjo: Aske likes Sjo. She's not really Aske who would chose to hang out with but she's nice even if she can be a little boring sometimes. Sjo keeps making Aske necklaces but Aske hasn't quite figured out why she should want one. They aren't very aerodynamic and they bounce when you run. Vanne: Vanne and Aske had a rough start when Aske called her collection junk (really it is) but Vanne has (mostly) forgiven her, just be careful what you say around her. Aske really likes Vanne though. She likes to adventure like Aske and she's good to talk to about serious stuff and just joke around. Rask: Rask is weird just plain wierd. He's not any fun at all. He just wants to sit around and write stories, but he's Maling's best friend/brother so Aske tolerates him. Maling: Maling is fun. She's a little cutie and Aske often wishes that she had her as a little sister (she is far superior to her actual sister) but then again she would also have to have Rask as a brother... |

Early life
Aske was born near the coast of Greenland were Makos were first discovered. As a child Aske was more adventurous than the most Mako she had habit of always getting in trouble. It wasn't that surprising that when she reached her teenage years she still ignored her obligations to run away and go have fun and still no one was surprised when one day she decided that she had seen everything that there was to see in their home and wanted to explore other places. Her family wasn't happy about it but they had known it would happen eventually even if they hoped they were wrong. The first place she decided to go was Iceland. It was the closest landmass to her and she'd heard it was warmer their. It turned out that despite being warmer it still wasn't what anyone would call warm. It wasn't that long after she came to Iceland that she met Dragga. Treacherous Travels by Rasskazchik K8O2bc Meeting Dragons Dragga, Celsius (Cel), and Starshine were all living in the mountains of Iceland. They had heard that due to the climate there very few thunderstorms occurred and Dragga took that as a challenge and was determined to change that fact. Since she and the other's arrived there had been at least one every week. When Dragga first saw Aske, she was hunting near the shore. Dragga immediately hated her mostly just because Aske glowed gold(ish) and that was Dragga's thing. Dragga made great attempts to stay away from this Mako, who she knew that must be terrible company. Aske wasn't aware that this was not the normal weather for the area but she loved it. There was nothing quite like swimming in those rough seas. It was such a rush. It was so much more exciting than being home. She tried to catch everyone that they she could, and it was not until Dragga saw Aske out swimming during a storm that she changed her mind. Anyone who would chose to go out in a storm like that must have excellent taste. In fact Dragga was inspired that she decided to go swim with her. Dragons are of course absolutely horrible swimmers and the middle of an artificially created superstorm is not the optimal time to learn. Aske was scared out of her mind when Dragga crashed down beside her. She hadn't noticed her flying above and now she was confronted with a great drowning dragon far over twice her size. Cel swooped down to save her. He created a large Icy platform for Dragga to stand on. "Whoo!" Dragga cried. "Again!" Cel pushed more ice in front of her as she attempted to dive. "Ah come on don't be like that Cel. It's fun!" She sighed and took off. Cel turned to Aske "Uh sorry about her," he mumbled, but Aske saw no reason to apologize. She had a feel that this dragon was her kind of person. Aske watched as the three dragons disappeared back into the clouds. The next storm she looked for them as she swam but only saw a telltale flicker of yellow in the clouds. After 2 more storms passed with the same results. She realized that if she was going to find them she'd have to go look for them on the island. Obviously she couldn't search the whole thing but she knew that many dragons had elemental powers. Perhaps the storms were being created by the dragons themselves. Then finding the dragons would be as simple as finding the origin of the storms. For the next several days she kept a close eye on the sky waiting for the signs of another storm forming. She noticed the strange happenings atop a nearby glacier right way but it wasn't until the next storm occurred that she was ready to move. She set off as soon as seas settled again and began to journey up to the top. When she reached the top, she was greeted by... nothing. There was nothing there. She didn't see any dragons; she didn't even see any signs of dragons. A crash like the shattering of glass echoed across the ice. This was promising. Aske took off running. The sound had come from the other side of glacier. Aske skidded to a stop nearly running straight off the edge of the glacier. This side was much steeper than the other. She smiled as she looked over the edge. Her eyes caught on the lip of a cave she couldn't see the size from above but it looked like a good bet. Now she just had to get down. This was going to good. The ice was steep but it was by no means straight down either. It would be hard to climb down to easy to slip. Of course there was one way to get down an icy hill. Time to go sledding. She'd have to bail out at the right time but boy would it be fun. How many people get to sled down a glacier in there lives? Aske found a suitable chunk of ice and dragged it over to the ledge. She pushed off and screamed in excitement before bailing out just seconds later. She rolled into the cave. The two dark dragons were sleeping but the blue one saw her and let out a high pitched scream before slipping and falling on some shards of an ice sculpture which must have been what she heard earlier. The other dragons stirred. Aske wondered if this gave her the right to add terror of dragons to the end of her name. "He-he-hello." He stammered. "Hi" Aske (terror of dragons) replied and began to poke the large yellow dragon who had swam so poorly. Dragga opened her eyes to the smiling Aske's face. Dragga jumped up in excitement. "Oh! It's you! What did I tell you isn't she great! I mean how could she not be. She looks just like me." She yelled at the still sleep dragon. "I'm Dragga. That's Cel-" "Celsius" he squeaked. "-and that's Starshine." "I'm Aske." "That's a dumb name." The third dragon said. He still hadn't moved. "Really and you think Starshine isn't?" "Starshine is an excellent name. I shine like a star. Do you Kay like an ah." "It's Norwegian idiot." "Whatever" He appeared to go back to sleep. "Oh don't mind Star, As. He's like that." "As?" "Aske's long. As is short. So what brings you to the heart of the storm." "I was bored. It seemed sorta exciting." The two kept talking for a while (sorry I got tired of writing) before Dragga told Aske that they would be leaving soon. Monsoon season was coming up somewhere or another and it always brought tons of storms. Iceland storms took work but monsoons were free fun. She decided to travel with this strange band of storm chasing dragons well storm making. An Annoying Acquaintance Starshine dove low toward the sea hoping to knock Aske into a wave. "Cut it out!" She snapped, "I'm trying to nap here!" Aske grumbled and looked into the water. She saw a strange glint beneath the surface, so she did what came naturally to her and jumped off. She did a flip as she |
